I have had a skin rash called vasculitis; Have taken prednasone and my highest weight is 230lbs. I used to weigh 147lbs. I feel like jabba the hut!! If I don't take it I break out and feel like a lepper if I do take it I may still break out and gain more weight. It's enough to make you depressed and i have been. No one should live like this.
I know what you mean. I can not take steroids because my sugar goes extemely high, one time they said it was 1000 while I was hopitalized. I now am having a flare up, my legs hurt so bad but I am broke out with a rash, but the pain, it is labor day so I plan to call my doctor on Tuesday but he usually does not know what to do for me. Any body have any suggestions other than steroids.
