I think Yasmin jump-started my cellulite process. I'm older than you (36), but never had lumpy thighs until a few months after starting yasmin. (I had been on several types of birth control on the past.) When it started, it snowballed, so that I was just staring in horror at the bumps and lumps quickly working their way down my legs. By the time they almost reached the back of my knees, I started investigating the possible cause--it was too sudden to be natural, and, like you, I've never been overweight.
I stopped Yasmin, began exercising 20 minutes in the morning (not too different from what I normally do, but more dedicated), and cut out processed foods, just to see. In under 2 weeks my cellulite withdrew by something like 40%. No kidding. I don't think it's just the healthy stuff, either.
Yasmin apparently has a tiny bit of testosterone-blocker (this is why it seems to work on hormonal acne). My doctor wondered if that might be the reason: men don't get cellulite, women do, thus maybe blocking our testosterone leaves the field open to cellulite...?
Just a theory. I'm not going back on Yasmin, ever. That cellulite was too scary.
