not too sure if this is a side effect of taking this medicine, but thought I would ask if anyone else has experienced this after taking it. My now 4 year old son had a case of Giardia (aka Beaver Fever) when he was 3 years old, he was hospitalized for 5 days or so. He was put on Metronidazole for 7 days, he got better and haven't had the Giardia since...but we started to see intolerance to certain foods, and now behavioral problems...basically symptoms of Autism/Sensory Integration disorder. I can pin point these issues to occurring after the hospitalization and the taking of this medicine....perhaps it isn't the medicine but the Giardia that caused it... Catherine
