i am a male 48 years old and have been taking zocor for only one month now and started getting a lot of heavy headache pain, and nausea,sinus headache and not feeling of working. ever since i feel always tired and not been able to proform at work also i m constipating with no bowel movements .

I almost died from a statin overdose of 80mg/day. Hopefully, the E-Newsletters listed below from www.medicationsense.com will help you decide if the risk outweighs the benefit of continuing with statins:

Typical symptoms from statin poisoning. Try not to be too concerned with cholesterol. The link between high cholesterol and heart disease has never been proven. It doesn't make sense to suffer on a drug to treat a condition that doesn't really exist. Adequate levels of cholesterol are important for muscles, memory, and steroid hormone production. Higher cholesterol levels are now being associated with longevity.
