Husband taking 10mg. He is having dizziness, confusion, memory lapse, depression, short-temper, severe leg cramps, chills, loss of appetite, constipation and severe stomach cramps. We are discontinuing this medication. He thinks it's literally killing him like being poisoned.

Your husband is being poisoned by Lisinopril- did you now that Lisinopril is made from a Brazil Pit Viper snake? I was on Lisinopril for five years . I have always had fatigue but contributed it to overweight and lack o exercise.
I get my meds from Costco and they changed Manufacture to IVAX and I got deathly ill and was admitted to the hospital. MY symptoms were:
short of breath, burning and stabbing in arms and legs, cough, lump in throat, depression, feeling like I am dying, heart palpitations, joint pain, low back pain, kidney pain, lack o sleep extreme fatigue, short term memory loss, anxiety.
I took myself off cold turkey and decided I rather have high blood pressure than this. The hospital changed my meds. They refuse to believe Lisinopril can do this. They say Lisinopril is a life saving drug for millions of people. It may be but for me it almost killed me. There are 34 pages of side effects that people are posting about.
This is my 8th day off the med and I am slowly recovering. I am 41 years old with a 5 year old and I could not function at all. I am also exercising and lifestyle changes to help with the blood pressure.
I feel your pain,
I you want to discuss furthur email me at
