I really believe that there is more than a 1% o the population with side efects.
I think more people don't immediately connect the symptoms as they are already some kind of health compromised and they think this all these aches and pains come with the territory.
I know for myself, I took Lisinopril for 5 years and I was always, always fatigued ached here and there. I was told I had GERD because of the extra abdominal fat pushing the acid up. I was told my joints ached cause I didn't exercise and lose weight. I was told my insomia was related to sleep apnea.
So as you can see none of my symptoms were reported as side effects of Lisinopril. I dont beleive that 1% number at all.
I stopped Lisinopril 10 days ago and I am slowly progressing. Each day gets better. The GERD is almost gone, I still have an occcasional cough and sore throat. My muscles occasionally still ache.
I think the drug does have some very useful benefits for some people, but i am not so sure it is as safe as they pretend. I mean it is made from poisonous Brazil snake venom!
