I HAVE BEEN ON LIPITOR FOR ABOUT A MONTH NOW AFTER HAVING 3 STENT...

Good that you stopped this poison drug. The drs. don't know anything about the side efects. Unfortunately, took Lipitor for 8 years. I stopped in 6 months ago, I still have the side effects, but they are getting better, since I am taking natural products now. There are also natural products to control your cholesterol.

I am a former Lipitor user, at 80 mg/day, long enough to lose most of my muscle mass, and still have major unexplained muscle pain. I was to the point where any consequenses of high cholesterol was worth stopping the use of this dangerous drug. It made me basically totally disabled due to relentless pain, and fuzzy minded lile a zombie. Also now using natural products. Now I am recovering. It is a bad and seriously dangerous drug. Don't take it!!!

good that you stop the lipitor ,coz my father reaction with lipitor was at first severe shoulder pain (left side) till he is become disable by using the medication ,he quit the cholestol medication lipitor and zetia.since he stop the lipitor 2yrs ago shoulder pain is compeletly gone,but zetia also had the same reaction on him which no doctor was agree to quit the medication and no stupid doctors are relate his condition to lipitorand......hopefully it is being 2 days that he start to walk again and he feels good ,some times he feels very good and then decline again ,hope this time he improve again for ever.many many thanks for those people who post their side effect which is really helped us alot.good luck
