How long have u not been taking the brown pills? It is alright to not take them maybe once every few months to not have a period that month. But to not take them consistently can cause breakthrough bleeding

I have never taken them scince I have been on the pills. Only this month(Aug) did I start having problems. I have horriffic cramps and bleeding is the reason that I don't want anything to do with a period.

u never once took them>?? ur doctor didnt tell you that u needed to take them for ur cycle to regulate? well if you werent going to take them, just wait till ur cycle does start and take them on the day ur pac says too. ur body probably is just going crazy and not sure what to do. on the seasonale, where u have like 4 periods a yr.. there is breakthrough bleeding common on that pill. u need to find out from ur doctor what u can do.

This pill does not take away ur period, it only states it will shrink them to three days and become a lot lighter. but thats after awhile being on them. some women do experience not having periods but not all women so its not likely to happen to everyone. i have been on it for over a yr and never missed a period. unless i skipped the brown pills. but only did that once two months ago and only thing i had was lite spotting a week before i started but then it regulated out. it was normal the doc told me since my body isnt used to not having a period. well im sure urs is likely in shock , if u went from extreme to none at all. i was just like u, before the pill.. couldnt leave anywhere. was almost a full month long. now regulated to 5 days and alot lighter than before. some people think 5 days is too long. but believe me.. i find it such a blessing.

if ur doc didnt tell u anything before taking this pill, i suggest u get a new one. before u skip the brown pills u should ask ur doctor first or the nurse at ur obgyn. u should have just started ur pack the sunday after ur period and let ur body regulate. but if u want no period at all, u need to switch. its not the pills fault that ur body is having these reactions, because u were never regulated at all. hope this helps

Thanks Ladies for all the advice I will be going to my doc on 9/1/ ish. The nurse was the one who said to skip the brown pills, but maybe she misunderstood me.. my agony. Also when I got the pills thy tolde me to start that day not to wait for my horrible period.lol. Any who I will be off this one.. Im just trying to hold out til menopause. Grrr
