I am 20 weeks pregnant & was prescribed Labetalol 200 mg 2 times...

I'm 21 weeks and experiencing the same thing. I was prescribed 300 mgs labetalol a day and shortly after taking it my breasts actually change. The areola and even surrounding breast tissue becomes very stiff, thick, and turn pale. Then they begin to hurt unbearably. I have never seen my breasts do this before. The doctor prescribed me oxycodone to combat the pain. I have had breast pain and sensitivity for most of my pregnancy, this drug seems to exacerbate it greatly.

I thought I was the only one! It started at 20wks when I was giving Labetalol at 100mg. It feels like someone has taken pliers to my nipples and cutting them. It is the worst pain of my life. That is until they upped my dose to 200mg!
I am so glad I'm not the only one.

My friend has taken the Betanol and it caused lowering blood pressure to such extent that the clot was created in the brain stem death and stroke after which she died yesterday.
We are looking for more of such cases to stop this medication be presribed. expecially to pregrant wemen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She had headeches and all the symptoms but it was too late.
In a hospital thay treated her with the same drug though and I wonder why.
