I would be interested, but not sure how to protect my daughter in the process. She attempted suicide last March and once I saw the report on March 27th, she is off. What upsets me the most is that the doctors in the hospital, the pharmacists, the outpatient psychiatrists and counselors, had no idea about this medication and the side effects. She was in the hospital for heaven's sake for depression, suicide attempt, and anxiety. (all diagnosed and reported on her psych report!) When I think of it I get soooo angry. She had been on Singulair for 3-4 years and became progressively worse with angry outbursts, depression, cutting, severe anxiety, hand and leg tremors etc. I took her to a psychiatrist and had counseling along with medication. I did all I could and just couldn't put my finger on it, that something was not clicking between treatment and cause. So my part would be how the pharmaceutical company (try finding the warnings on their website), pharmacists, and physicians/psychiatrists let us down. And all the money, time and energy spent on something that could have been preventable. But most importantly the time, opportunities and experiences my daughter can not get back...

Hi Kate,

I am interested, but just took my son off the medication. I will let you know how long it takes for him to get back to normal. I am so drained from this whole experience. I was about to have a nervous breakdown over my son's behavior. I just cried when I read all these same stories that I have been experiencing for 2 years. I will do anything I can to let other parents know that this drug is dangerous and is destroying lives.
