I have been on Lisinopril for many years, and always had a small cough. This summer the cough and clearing of the throat became worse. I mentioned this to my chiropractor and he said my body has built up a resistance to this drug and greatly affecting my throat to the point where I may not be able to breathe. There have been many times, this summer, when I couldn't seem to get enough air, like I couldn't breathe deeply enough to fill my lungs. Then at times it would feel like a feather was in my throat and I would have a terrible coughing spell. I have sensed that my memory has been effected and I have had more periods of depression. This is not the medicine for me.
