I am sorry to hear about your difficulties while on Yasmin. One of the symptoms lept out at me since my daughter was diabetic. I hope you have mentioned your "severe thirst" to your doctor. This is one of the symptoms of diabetes and should be checked out.
Also, because my daughter died of blood clots in her lungs during the third month on Yasmin, I strongly urge you to know the symptoms of blood clots in the legs (DVTs) and blood clots in the lungs (pulmonary emboli). Some of these symptoms include pain in the legs that doesn't go away, pain on deep breathing, and shortness of breath. If you should develop any of these symptoms go immediately to the ER or your doctor and insist on being tested for blood clots. Take care and please spread the word about the possibility of blood clots among your friends on birth control pills.
