Try Intal inhaler to substitute for the Singulair. My son was switched to it and his asthma is still very under control.
Yes, we've been using asthmanex. A preventive med. It seems to work for my son. He has to use his Albuteral on occasions. He doesn't seem to need anything else. We went through hell on Singulair. Too much to even write. I am going to sit down and write up a timeline, we have 5 years of side effects, events, etc. My son is recovering but I don't know what kind of long term damage there is, not to mention some learned behavior when he wasn't in his right mind. It was a horrible experience and the Myrck company shouldn't use our kids as lab rats. This stuff should never be used for children and I'm not so sure anyone should risk it. Concerned citizen can explain alot of that. Sort through his comments on Singulair if you haven't already. Good luck and bless you and your kiddo. Thank goodness you figured it out, our doctors seemed to be clueless/or bought off?
