Good Morning
Actually I have been trying to reply to this posting since 3:57 a.m. this morning. I have not been able to sleep since I was prescribed Bactrim a week ago. I could not think of what could be causing me to have sleepness nights and all of the aforementioned symptoms that I am having. I went to the doctor for a second time for insect bites that I had received from a week's stay at a hotel out-of-state this past July. I was first given a shot and put on Hydroxyz Pam 25 cap for> Vistaril 25 MG and Sandoz Azithromycin 250 Tab Sand). After a two week follow-up and no results, I was seen by another physician in the office who said that those were not insect bites, but that I had MSRA. He prescribed me Bactrim too and told me to come back in another two weeks. I can not even make another two weeks. I had to stop taking Bactrim because in addition to the insect bites that I still have on my legs and thighs, now I have hives on the legs, face, thighs, chest, back and arms. And by the way the itching is unbearable. When I bathe in warm or hot water, my body itches severely. I have been using both calydryl and benedryl but no success. This medication causes me to experience nausea, loss of appetite, pain in my kidneys hurt, fatigue, sweats, fever, severe headaches (been taking tylenol extra strength and aleve), numbness and sharp pains in both shoulders, arms and fingers, chest, and sleepness nights. I had to contact my doctor's office on yesterday to see if the office was open on today, Saturday. I have to go and see the doctor this morning. Now my body is worst off than it was before I started taking Bactrim.
Oh I noticed an error in my posting this morning a minute ago that I typed MSRA. It should have been been MRSA.
