Why does no-one ever warn you how these drugs can affect you? I had an injection of Kenalog 15 days ago for rotator cuff tendonitis. Since then my moods swings have been unbearable - wanting to kill the husband and the kids one minute and bursting into tears the next. Furthermore, my menstrual cycle is 28 days to the dot all the time with no hiccups and yet 7 days ago I started bleeding again (day 13 of my cycle). And so far there is no sign of it stopping. My GP thinks this is the result of the steroid injection (which was given by another consultant at a private hospital under my company medical insurance). Having read the numerous postings on this site, I'm inclined to agree with my GP. I have been given some medication to stop the bleeding so my GP can peform an examination in order to rule out any other causes. But this shouldn't really be necessary. If I though that this was going to happen, I'd have put up with the pain. I'd love to hear more on this subject. Thanks
