Katie opal payne passed away 8-13-08 from a blood clot that traveled threw here leg and into her lung .She was using nuvaring .Blood clots are a big side effect. .She was only 22.She left behind a 1 year old son .

wow, i am sorry to hear that. i had a blood clot in my lung on feb 24 of this year, and almost died, but they saved me.

the only trigger is the nuvaring.
