Your symptoms are the same as ours.. please get off this drug now.
The plain lisinopril and the lisinopril with hctz are all poison.

I've only beeen taking Lisinopril for a week and am not having any side effects. Don't notice anythig like dehydration. Live in sunny So Calif and spent weekend working outside in garden digging trenches and laying sprinkler pipe. Did not drink more than usual... maybe a liter of water all afternoon. I'm planning on dropping 20-30 lbs. over next few months and hopefully getting off the meds.

Yes, I had the same experience as you have. I was taking HCTZ (12.5 mg). I started feeling dizzy, heart palpiatation, high pulse rate and moreover dehydrated. Once the symptom (high BP) was severe that I had to go ER. Doctors did not find any heart related problems. My GP took off the HCTZ and prescribed just Lisinopril (5mg). Since then I have had very mild other symptomps e.g. bloating, acidity, throat irritaion associated with cough. But these are not severe at present. i am glad that I am not taking HCTZ any more.
