Like you wouldn't believe unless you suffered it your self. Couldn't remember neighbours names who I'd known for years, no way would my wife ask ask me what one of our adult children had just said to me on the phone, I couldn't remember and I was a walking time bomb. i couldn't think or write or say what I meant. I have just made a reply under lipitor side effects you might want to read. lipitor is another make of simvstatin. Sore muscles, number 1 and 2's not to good, bad dreams, excessivly tired short of breath. It's bloody bad news "preventitve medicine". Best from New zealand.

i took zocor and lipitor. i got really bad dementia. almost like alzheimers. and muscle soreness and bone pain. i quit them and i am much better now

It has been pointed out to me that I forget things a lot more than I did.
