I have not had any of the side effects yet, but after being raped my doctor highly recommended that I get the shot, so without even considering it more my Mom agreed to it. I've completed the cycle, receiving my final shot a little under a month ago, I believe that it was the 20th or 21st of August. My first shot was sometime in February '08 shortly before my seventeenth birthday. I did have pneumonia in April, and I'm not sure if that's connected to the vaccine in anyway, but I was usually sick quite frequently with sore throats and a little nausea before I got the shot. I've had tonsillitis as well and just had my tonsils removed, so I'm really starting to hope even more so than before that I do not get any side effects from this drug. My heart truly goes out to all of you who have lost someone due to this drug or has someone close to them with brain disorders. You'll definitely be in my prayers. BOTTOM LINE: DON'T ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN OR ANYONE YOU KNOW TO GET THIS DRUG UNTIL IT HAS BEEN 110% PERFECTED!
