I just finished taking a prescription for levaquin, 500mg once a day for 7 days. I cannot begin to describe the intense joint pain; hips, knees, hands, feet, it was horrible. I experienced nausea and headaches as well. Plus, I have been so exhausted that it's almost impossible to describe; I've been sleeping 15-17 hrs and still can barely keep my eyes open. I will never take this drug again unless it's a life or death emergency!
Wow,that sound's awfull,sorry you had to go thru that.
I would put that on your list of med's not to take anymore and tell your doctor what you went thru.

Sorry to hear about your reaction. I too had the tremendous fatigue. I can't even explain the feeling but even after I stopped the drug it took an great deal of effort to walk to the garage from the house.... and I'm only 48!!! I WAS in great shape. Even today I have bouts of fatigue (especially in the morning). I wish you well. Hang in there, it does improve.
