Today I was prescribed 750Mg of Levaquin for an allergic reaction to something, which I & My doctor don't know what the underlying cause was. I was also given 3 other meds-however I didn't start any but the Levaquin today. It was only 1 hour after taking Leveaquin that my left side of my face went numb, followed by my lips and eyes swelling. I couldn't swallow or breath. My left arm went completely numb, and I started to shake and get very pale. I immediately called my doctor, who said to get to his office right away. He checked my throat, and said it appeared to be fine.He stated hes never heard of any of my reactions to Levaquin, but Gave me a shot of something in my buttocks. I would say in less the 15 min I felt so much better. Also the allergic reaction I had in the first place seem to be somewhat under control. I sure hope this is the end of it, and this medicine levaquin is completely out of my system as soon as is humamly possible.
