How long might it take for the lost hair to grow back in? Or is it possible that it simply won't grow back? After taking the drug for a year, I recently had my doctor switch me to a new med in August. It's now October, and I am bald at the crown and in the front part of my head! Before, my hair was fairly thick. The dermatologist I consulted says that baldness must be in my genetic makeup, and if I hadn't seen this website, I might have believed him. Both doctors I saw didn't believe that this was a drug side effect, but when one of them decided to check her medical website, she saw that it is a problem that effects 1% of the population. It's too coincidental that all of these people with adverse effects to lisinopril have remarkably had all this hair loss!
