I've been taking Welchol for three weeks and have developed gastritis which I think is the result of taking this med. One of the side effects is heartburn which I do not have but I do have burning sensation in my stomach. Please respond if you have experienced this side effect. I hurt! Thanks! M.A.

Yes, severe burning in ribs, left breast, stomach, arms.

Forgot to mention-I am now anemic and this is one of the side effects from Welchol.
