I took 500 mg of Omnicef and then had a bowl of ice cream. About 5 hours later I became violently ill with vomiting, nausea and light headedness. I thought I had food poisoning. A week later, I did the same thing, had the same reaction and realized it was the combination of Omnicef and the ice cream (just happened to be a different kind of ice cream too). Do NOT take omnicef and anything with calcium, including ICE CREAM!
