Do you really think ALL of these women are that unaware of themselves, the world around them, and the basic side effects BCP's cause? These women for the most part are complaining of SEVERE side effects not being irritated but having such severe irritation that they can't cope or make rational desions anymore.... It obviously doesn't affect everyone the same way but if you had the symptoms that some of these women are discribing you would understand TRUST ME it's much more severe than other BCP's. I myself read the booklet twice before taking it and from the impression I was given I was much more worried about the physical than the mental. Seven days after starting it I basicly lost my mind. My huswband knew it was the YAZ because he had seen changes in me as soon as I started. I ignored those changes assuming like you suggest that it was par for the course. I ended up with severe depression aggitated by anxiety and PHYSCOTIC features. I never needed any physcitropic meds before this and now I can't even function normally or cope with them!!!!! I have been in socical work at least 10 years 7 of which were supervising a RTC unit to keep teenage girls safe no matter what, I myself have not thought AT ALL about suicide for at least 15 years and when I did than they were fleeting and very controlable after 7days of YAZ I suddenly WANTED TO KILL MYSELF AND MY TWO CHILDERN!!!!! I WENT FROM COPING ONE DAY TO PYSCOTIC THE NEXT. I don't believe all these women are nieve or being dramatic I believe {know in my case} that this medicaton can have very bad and extreme side effects on some women and someone needs to figuare out why and who because no other women including you should ever have thier world and mindturned upside down from a BCP. I appologize for the length of my reply and the angry content but this is very real for me and I have to sometjimes remember that unless you've felt it you can't imagine it.

I agree! The side effects should be read and understood before taking the pill. It affects everyone differently. It is a risk everyone was willing to take... I have been on this pill for over 2 years now and have not experiened one negative side effect.
