When stopping a benzo, such as Temazepam, it is best to slowly taper off it. Withdrawal from a benzo can last up to 6 wks Suddenly stopping a benzo can cause jitters, anxiety, seizures.
My doctor just changed me from Cymbalta to Seroquel a couple of days ago. Last night I took it with my other meds, Ambien, Xanax, and Mirapex (which is also new). I practically passed out and could barely wake up this morning. Tonight I took only the Seroquel and Mirapex because I have to work in the morning. But tonight, every time I try to fall asleep, I'm experiencing the most vivid, terrifying nightmares I've had in a very long time. In between being awake and asleep, I feel like 'something' is trying to get me, something extremely evil. The evil feels like a tangible presence and now I'm afraid to fall asleep so that's why I'm here. I know there's nothing here because my cats are calm and from what I've always heard, animals are sensitive to supernatural presences. See how bad this has me freaked out? I'm afraid to fall asleep for the nightmares and sitting here writing about feeling evil presences. I don't know if this is an effect of the drug or not but would like to know if anyone else has had any experiences like this while taking it.
