Well, I have been on NR for about 3 months now. I really like it. I did have some nausea the first couple of weeks, but no vomiting. I also gained a couple of pounds and had a lowered sex drive. After the first 3 weeks or so though, NO PROBLEMS AT ALL! I will say I have a random rash, but I am pretty sure it's not from the ring. It similar to something I had all my life. Kind of like dry, exema (sp?). But really, I wouldn't worry so much. It's convienient and like everything new, your body has to adjust to it.

I used NR briefly (3 months) about 6 years ago. It was HORRIBLE. No sex drive, painful breasts, pain (not just during sex, but all the time), and it made me a total bitch. I'm sure NR probably works fine for some women, but I will never use it again.

If you haven't had any side effects with it yet, maybe you should keep using it until you notice problems. As I recall, the side effects went away pretty quickly and they're easy to notice, so you can always take it out of you have problems. Going to the drug store and checking your blood pressure a couple times per week might be a good idea though. They have those free machines.
