Those pads are a scam, they will "remove toxins" on anything. Basically they are designed to turn colors no matter what they are attached to and in no way indicate the actual removal of toxins from the body.

Those don't actually do anything- the skin isn't the organ that's involved in detoxifying the body, toxins are filtered and removed by your liver. Also, think of it this way- your skin is designed to keep harmful substances out of your body- if all these 'toxins' can exit your body through your skin, then it would be just as easy for them to enter your body through your skin as well- and it's not! The color change that occurs on the pads is caused by one of the supposedly "ancient Japanese medicinal ingredients"- wood vinegar. The vinegar is generally dried and ground before being mixed in with the other patch ingredients. When this dried vinegar comes back in contact with water, through sweaty feet, it returns to its liquid version which is a dark colored liquid.
