I have been on Wellbutrin XL for 2 years with no ill side effects...

I'm rely glad that I started looking for answers in regards to all of my medications. Recently, these past month's, I began to really become concern for my health, my life for the matter. I started taking a lot of different anti-depression medication since 2005. My wife, for 39 yrs., got into a very terrible accident that left her paralyzed (bedridden) and w/permanent brain damage. The impact of this accident deeply impacted our entire family. Prior to taking Budeprion, my psychologist prescribed other anti-medications throughout the years which did not work for me. Then in Dec. of 2008 he prescribed Budeprion. The other anti-med's. NEVER left me feeling this way as BUDEPRION does. Prior to my wife's accident, honestly, I was one that was never dependent or liked to use any form of medication to upkeep my health. I would exercise and try to eat right to keep healthy. But due to my wife's accident, I got so overwhelmed by depression, I had to seek help. Like you, describing what you're or were experiencing, hopefully, I too, even as I write this, feel the pain and the other agonizing things, except "scratching to the point of bleeding" as you!!! The severe muscle, joint pains, numbness/pain in the hands, irritability and much loss of strength, really is a culprit for me because I need to be strong to "transport" my wife to and from her wheelchair. Fortunately, I still have two of my son's living at home that's old and strong enough to assist in carry their mom when need to. Unlike the headaches you're not experiencing, I'm happy for you, I do have them - excruciating headaches! At times it's so bad that regular doses of headache med.'s don't help. I need to take more than directed, which also may prove detrimental to my heath in the long run, if I continue to take more than called for. Also, like you, I take a lot of Advil or Aleeve per day. At one point, I was taking prescribed pain med.'s from my doctor. I too, is very concern about continuing to take Budeprion! I truly hope that the side effects of Budeprion is only temporary!? For my and family sake, I need to try and get back to good health and regain my strength to take care of my now disable wife. As of today, after reading about your ordeal and others horrific experiences after being on Budeprion, rather on a long or short duration, it prompts me to seek advise from my doctor and definitely stop taking BUDEPRION!!!
