Hi, I have been on Yasmin for 2 years now. I didn't like what it was doing to me and so went off it. I didn't get back on it for 7 months, my reason for getting back on it, my PERIODS STOPPED for the whole 7 months I didn't take the pill. I really don't know what to do. If I get off it my period stops, if I don't Im cranky, irritable, low and hardly have any sex drive. The doctors just say its normal. I don't even want to see the doctor anymore sice they don't do anything about it. Ive had it

A few years ago, I was taking Alesse and stopped taking it for about 15 months. I didn't get period for the first 6-7 months and then got them back but it was very unregular. I was told by the doctor my ovaries had went numb not ovulating for the 5 years I had been on the pill. After 15 months off the pill (and 7-8 months of unregular periods) I decided I might as well go back on it, wich I did.
