Ive had mine for almost a year and a half now and I have NO sex drive whatsoever and have gone to a dermatologist because my face is so bad with breakouts (my back and front too!) I am on my 2nd time getting the Mirena. The 1st time I removed it because I thought it was causing an odor. I had never had it before. It was bacterial vaginosus (spelling?). for the past 2 years I have got the same thing 4 times. It is horrible and I felt disgusting. My OB informed me it had nothing to do with the Mirena...it is a PH balance level that is off. So I got the Mirena put back in about 3 months ago and all I have is problems with it. I am reading all the side effects that everyone in these postings are having and I am going through the same thing. I can't be for certain if your odor is because of the Mirena but I wanted to respond to let you know I had the same thing.
