I am taking Adalat XL 60 mg. once a day.. as far as BP went was working fine.. They found I needed a stent in my heart... specialist put me on metropol 12.5... after the operation i went back to him.. BP was 80/53.. wow, no wonder I was feeling tired.. he advised me to stay on it.. NO WAY.. just my Adalat XL is working fine.. BTW.. and for the Gladys1948.. a few days after i started the metropol (lisiopril) I noticed a floater in my right eye... was disconcerting.. but is slowly leaving since stopping the drug.

I'm on ZESTRIL which is LISINOPRIL and METOPROLOL which is LOPRESSOR- the Lisinopril 40 mg once a day and the Lopressor, 50 mg twice a day a day. My BP went down to 153/90 when my doctor changed the LISINOPRIL to 20mg twice a day with added 25mg HCTZ and it shot up to 158/100 and kept rising from there. I don't understand because every time my BP is in that range, they tell me I'm fine and it's been a lot higher! Now it's 280/151 and I ran out of meds Monday and Wal-Mart pharmacy refuses to transfer to my local pharmacy right across the street. Had them filled with 5 refills and my regular pharmacy is CVS. I ask them the past two days for a couple days supply upfront as they always offer when in this between payday crisis, but last night the guy told me the pharmasist named Sam refused. I called CVS this morning and was told that there is no pharmacist named Sam, but a new pharm tech. The lady pharmacist was shocked to hear how i'm being refused emergency meds, RX transfers so all my RXs can be together just across the street instead of across town and they know I don't drive. Oh, but I've been using this same CVS since it opened and the SAVON before that for the past 4 1/2 years and other pharmacies within their chain before this one opened and they have all savon's computer records on me. How come I have no problems filling my Morphine (Federal law prohibits refills on this medication and all schedule 2 controlled narcotics) and refilling my Valium is a breeze, but my life is in HUGE DANGER ??? I told both pharmacies my BP readings and that my doctor will be very upset if I stop and then I called his office to let them know my situation. They told me to come in, but I don't have my $20-$30 co-pay. I also don't drive which would pose a real danger to myself and others from my medications!!! When I was in tears scared to dealth LITERALLY and home alone, they got real nasty as if they were getting off on my distress. LAWSUIT TIME! I have written this down in case I die to help my husband prove harmful intent by the pharmacy and why didn't my foreign doctor on a visa call in new ones to save time, energy and oh, ya, MY LIFE, I don't know, but worst they can do to him is deport him and that means a free trip home. Sometimes I get the strong feeling that many of these foreign doctors just don't care. I'm getting pain relief, but I'm getting sicker & sicker with each visit and RX I fill or refill pretaining to my well being. I get scolded for not taking my meds, but when I run low, my insurance refuses to ok refills of my life support in a bottle. They told the doctor NOT to hospitalized me when I was told I was in grave danger, but they want me in a grave;-(

WHO CAN I TRUST WITH MY LIFE WHEN I CAN'T TRUST MY OWN DOCTOR WHO IS AN INTERNAL MEDICINE SPECIALIST AND ONLY RISKS DEPORTATION IF I FILE A SUIT WHICH I REALLY DON'T WANT TO DO! 238/126 RIGHT NOW AND NOONE WILL HELP ME??!! Having no insurance is much better because at the ER, they see me, but with insurance everything has to be verified and they make ya sit there & suffer until they get approvals. I was kicked out too soon in hospital with insurance, but without, they kept me until I was ok'd by the doctor, not some creepy insurance agent 1,000 miles away!!!
