I've had the Mirena for over 3 years now, I've been going to the doctor for some pelvic pains and she referred me to the obgyn whom i saw yesterday i go back in and see him at the end of the month but he is almost convinced that my pelivc pain which worsens with sex is being caused by my mirena. is there anyone else who has had this problem?? my pcp seems to think that the pains are more related to endometriosis.

I just got the Mirena on Oct 3rd and yes i am feeling the pelivc pain. We had sex for the first time last night and it was the worst experience that we both had. I know it has to be because of the Mirena. I told him it will take time to get use to. but after reading all these postings, it looks like he will always feel it and it will be uncomfortable for the both of us. So NO ur not crazy, and you had it longer than me, and I started feeling all the pelvic pain the same day and still have the pains and i had it in 6 days now!!!
