In March 2008, at age 39, I was put in the hospital for 15days for a large blood clot in my portal vein, it sits at the opening of my liver. I had been taking YAZ for less than a year.The clot could not be dissolved or removed. Now, 9mths later, I still take many medications for pain and blood thinners. The only conclution was the YAZ OR a low c protein and s protein that was thrown over the limit by the birth control. This could not be proven without taking me off the blood thinners and not even MAYO clinic would do that. So much good is said about YAZ, I never even thought a lawsuit or legal action would be possible.
