Risperdal increases production of prolactin. That would explain lactation and reduced sex drive. So if you read that it doesn't affect sex drive, it may not but in some cases it very well my since increased prolactin decreases sex drive.

I have a prolactin level of 40, had a MRI and found a microprolactinoma in the pituitary...It's my understanding that high prolactin is directly related to the pituitary gland, so I would think a test covering all pituitary hormones be done.
