i just started taking synthroid for the first time, i am 54, star...

I am not sure what to tell you about NOT taking synthroid....I am battling this too. But what I have done is go to a clinic that specializes in womens health concerns. The male dominated endo just keep pumping more synthroid at us a don't listen to us as we emotionally break down in their offices. I have found out I am severely vitamin D deficient...Also did a 24 hour urine test. Took a mega dose of iodine and well that ain't working neither, so I am also taking Iodoral (idodine tabs) I have been adding these supplements for about a month so in about another 4 weeks or so will be tested for Vit D and thryroid levels....bboyzgram@yahoo.com
