I just was prescribed avelox for a sinus and chest infection and I would rather go back to having the sinus infection than taking this drug. I could not believe the anxiety, dry mouth, nausea and worst of all, dizziness I have experienced and yesterday was only my third dose...I just can't handle it anymore and I'm going to my doctor first thing tomorrow to get something different. I couldn't even remember what day it was. I'm sorry about your show...that sucks..in this case, the cure really is worse than the disease!

i was put on avelox for a sinus infection about 3 days ago and now my mouth is so dry it is hard to swallow and I feel like I am on the verge of a panic attack constantly and I have never really had a problem with anxiety before. How long did it take you you to get back to normal after taking this medication? Avelox truely is worse than the worse sinus infection I have ever had.
