Yes, absolutely file a report with medwatch.
Another thing that we could do: If your doctor injured you with a statin drug, you could report this to the State Board of Medical Examiners. This is the medical licensing agency in your state, who has the power to revoke your doctor's medical license. Think about it, If thousands upon thousands of complaints started flowing in to State Medical Boards, physicians would think twice before prescribing statins.
FDA.gov will be hearing from me. Although I doubt seriously if they are listening!! Just from reading this site apparently it is new knowledge about "statins"!! They continue to believe the good outways the bad, perhaps on Cardiovascular patients this is true, but to continue to give these horrible drugs to well clients I just can't imagine why they persist in doing this..Im a ICU nurse with cholesterol 227, Good Chol. 76...Why, or why did I listen to him. I can't walk across the room without aid; severely swollen R leg below the knee and behind it. Have had MRI, vascular studies they offered me lasix!. , another winner,, to pee it off...!! Another disaster,..I am not a heart, lung or otherwise infirmed patient, these drugs do terrible things to me. How can intelligent practicing physicians be so stupid about these severe problems caused by these drugs.
