Heavy chest, find it hard to breath, palpitations, weight gain around my stomach and hips (I've never had a problem with putting on weight prior to having the coil fitted) mood swings, very, very tender and sore breasts. Lack of Sex drive or being attracted to the opposite sex...
Girl!!!!! Go see you pcp!! Heavy chest and palpitations are a bad thing no matter what you decide to do with the mirena. But i recommend looking at drugs.com for side effects of mirena listed under adverse reactions!!! also try FDA web site!! Good luck!!

These are the same side effects that I had with the Mirena. My heart rate is still high all the time. I must admit that I do feel extremely better. I had the Mirena removed on August 25, 2008.
