Hi i WAS JUST SEARCHING TO SEE IF THE STRANGE THRUSH LOOKING STUFF ON MY TONGUE AND THE THICK DISCHARGE i HAVE RELATED TO THE MIRENA. LOOKING AT YOUR POST AND THE ONE JUST ABOVE YOURS... I MAY BE RIGHT. I HAVE HAD THE MIRENA 4 YEARS AND AM AT THE END OF THE 5 YEAR PERIOD. I HAVE PAIN IN BACK AND GROIN LEG AREA... AND JUST RECENTLY THE THRUSH WHITE IN MY MOUTH WITH A LOT OF THINGS NOT TASTING RIGHT OR IS SENSITIVE TO HOT ANT COLD. MORE IS THE DISCHARGE,.. THICK NO ODOR -- THAT IS AGGRAVATING FOR ME AND MY HUSBAND...

hi there thanks for the reply hope your getting on better please let me know .Well i ended up in hospital with toxic shock syndrome (lucky to be alive)i had the coil removed as i was told it predisposed me to toxic shock syndrome!i have never felt so ill in all my life.i have been left with peeling skin a dody liver and extreme tirdeness .The main reson the doctors thought i got so ill was from the vaginal infection and the coil didnt help matters.I will never ever ever have a coil of any type inserted ever again!
