I have been taking Remeron for about a year and a half. I started out with 30mg at bed time. It helped eating habits and helped me sleep. However I started gaining Weight big time. I am a 52 year old male and weighed 130 Pounds before taking the medication. I now weigh 196 pounds and have cysts on both of my breasts. I went to see a cancer clinic and was told there was no cancer ! Thank GOD , However the doctor told me it was a possible side effect of the Remeron. So I stopped taking Remeron cold turkey 2 day's ago and so far so good. I hope I don't have any withdrawal from stopping but I WILL NEVER TAKE IT AGAIN !!!!!!
