What side effects should one expect who has been prescribed 1000m...

Wow, I'm sorry may I ask what its for? I have been on quite a bit in the past perhaps I can help. Is it MS? None of my business just need to know to perhaps help.

This was prescribed to my dad who was 75years old and believed to be in fair health. The prednisone was prescribed for what the doctors believed to be optic neuritis. My dad died 3 weeks later of multiple organ failure.

I realize those with MS are given high dosages from time to time. In my dads case MS was ruled out.

Any info on mega dosages would be appreciated.

Has anyone been prescribed this massive oral dosage?
