Unfortunately, yes it could. Many have had problems several months to years after taking this poison. A close friend had Levaquin in the hospital for a Shingles infection and a year later her knee blew out...no dr would attibute it to the Levaquin and 3 months ago her other knee blew. Now, she has had both knees replaced and is convinced the Levaquin started it! I took it twice in 04 & 05 and then in 06 and that was the "kicker"...started having join pain after the first time but didn't equate the two until after I took in 06...now I hobble around with widespread tendonitis and damaged achilles tendons. Your biggest obstacle will be drs who can't fathom that the antibiotic is the culprit. Hell, they wouldn't even believe it for me 6 DAYS after I took it! Continue reading the posts from here and other sites and educate yourself as much as possible about this class of drugs. Remember that you are not alone! There are thousands of us! Stay strong and take care!
You are not kidding!! I'm on day 7 with this drug being treated for a UTI infection and my legs and calves are killing me!! I had 3 days left but decided to discontinue it after reading all the bad side effects of which some I am now experiencing.
