My husband was on lisinopril for a couple of years. A few months ago, he started to get a rash. We thought it was a soap allergy so we changed all our bath, hand and laundry soaps to hypo allergenic. He continued to get worse. He felt extremely tired and weak. He felt chilly most of the time. The rash at first peeled and was red but did not itch. Then it began to itch really bad and it spread to his feet. He took his socks off one day and skin from the soles of his feet came with it. He had a rash from head to toe. He was incredibly thirsty all the time. His Dr. and a Dermatologist got him off the pills and treated the rash with pills (fexofen) and an ointment. Within a couple of days, he was markedly improved. Now, almost a week later, he has healed almost completely.
