My BP improved with taking potassium and magnesium supplements and using sea salt for cooking. I have also lost about 5 lbs and am avoiding salty snacks like chips or popcorn. I am just one of those "salt-sensitive" people (thanks, grandparents!) who has to resist the temptations provided by Frito-Lay!
I have always exercised. It had little to no effect on BP.
