You recommended Red Yeast Rice. Do you know that the primary ingredient is actually LOVASTATIN -- another statin that causes problems with liver enzymes, etc? Many people who think they are taking something that is healthier and natural don't really understand why they are still having problems. Be careful. Dietary changes will help you the most. There are no magic pills.
I thank you for your input. Yes, I am very aware of the Red Yeast ingredients, I did however think that those with high content of Lovastatin were actually not marketed??? With that said, I made the decision not to take it anyway. I just think it could be an alternative for those who do take statins, maybe. I watch my diet, exercise and take several supps. fish oils, mega 3's etc. - thanks again.
