Have you been tested for blood clots in your lungs? You have the symptoms of pulmonary emboli. If you have NOT been tested in any of your previous workups, I strongly urge you to seek immediate medical attention (as in going to an ER) and INSIST on being tested for blood clots. There is a blood test called a dDimer, or the doctor can order sonograms or other scans. If you have pulmonary emboli this is a potentially fatal condition. Sadly, I know this because my beautiful 18 year old daughter died from pulmonary emboli during her third month on Yasmin. She had been assured that she just had anxiety when she developed the shortness of breath and the chest pains. She died two days after that diagnosis. Please take care and look into this ASAP. There are treatments for blood clots. I do not want anyone else to die from side effects because of a lack of knowledge.
I am SO incredibly sorry for your loss. I have had her in my thoughts after reading your message. All of my blood work/ekg/heart ultrasound came back as normal. I went for a stress test, x-ray & wore a monitor for 2 days. I'll know those results in a week or so. I have been doing cardio once a day (as per doc's suggestion). I still have a bit of chest pain but I've been off bc for 3 weeks now & with every day that I was off the pain in my chest that was sore to the touch has gotten better. My only worry is whether it has done damage, something I'll have to work on or live with. I am so upset doctors have no issues with subscribing this poison. I am so, so, so sad to hear your daughter never had a chance to get better. That makes me VERY sad. I hope you are healthy & happy. Thank you for contacting me with your concerns. :)
