this is not a new side effect but one that i am relieved to learn is being experienced by others. i've been on lisnopril for about 3 months, 20mg per day. for the most part my bp is normal (120-80) and i seem to have a wonderful sleep, wake up refreshed and SO CALM. sometimes i wonder if my heart is even beating as i can't feel it beating like i could before. but that is not a complaint. this cough is TERRIBLE. it comes about every hour or so and i cannot seem to get it to stop. it's like there's something at the top of my bronchial tubes and it's a nagging tickle. oftentimes, i cough until i'm almost throwing up. this is very embarrassing at work.
