I just spent $40 on a 10 day supply of Levaquin (750 mg). I am so upset - for one I am out $40, and now I don't want to take it. Of course the pharmacist will not take it back. I am a 30 year old female, (weigh 105 lbs) and have had serious reactions to medication before. To top it off I have fluid in both ears, which is why I got this medicine in the first place. I am assuming that most of you would tell me to stay away from it. I feel like I should try it since I spent all that money on it, but I am afraid to now. Any thoughts from anyone. I can't believe my doctor didn't say anything about the possible side effects.

Yeah, I have a thought on the matter. If you think $40 is "all that money" compared to the 2 years of hell I have been through then you really don't understand what people here are saying. Let's see... 3 trips to the ER,3 months lost work, detached bicep and surgical repair (yes, tendon damage), and a life that barely resembles what it was before a few days of Levaquin. If all of that is worth it for a $40 dollar loss then go for it.
