I had b12 deficiency due to taking Yasmin pill. I had debilatating health problems for 3 years. I had the same ferritin issue. After injecting b12 for several months I began to have less joint pain and my numb limbs began to recover. It took me almost three years after Yasmin to get my health back. This drug is horrible. Good luck. I also had a low protein c antigen which led me to have a propensity to clots. I would bleed uncontrollably with menses.

Yasmin, Yaz and any medication (contraceptive) with ethinyl estradiol can cause B12 deficiency in users. Research this on net. B12 deficiency when left undiagnosed causes neurological damage, swelling to limbs, heart palpitations, blood clotting many issues. Currently the law firm of Girardi & Keese is bringing litigation against Bayer. In my case my B12 deficiency will affect me for life as it was undiagnosed for 3 years after taking Yasmin and I have irreversible damage.
